SimCoaster Review At Adrenaline Vault
by Ian @ 6:10 AM EST
A new review today at the Adrenaline Vault gave SimCoaster an overall rating of 3.5 out of 5. The review includes quite a few screenshots from the game. Here's a quote from the review, comparing SimThemePark and SimCoaster:

"The changes from SimTheme Park to SimCoaster are not revolutionary. The developers have added more depth by introducing both specific mandatory challenges to be completed and an easy-to-master roller coaster design kit, allowing you to make roller coaster and log flumes for placement directly into your park."

Stratics interviews Will Wright
by Rand Huck @ 3:06 PM EST
Stratics released an interview with Will Wright a few days ago. It discusses general information about Maxis and Will Wright's facinating career. You can find the interview here.

And here is a little piece of that interview:

"Danciy Dynae: Unfortunately we are not all "Sims." Admitting so -- what decision do you regret, most, having to make during your successful years of game developing? And, if you could go back and change this instance would you do so?

Will Wright: I honestly can say that I don't have any regrets. There are many things that I found stressful during my career (having to fire an employee for the first time, bootstrapping Maxis with most of my cash, going public), but had any of these events changed then it's likely that I wouldn't be where I am right now. I happen to like where I am at this point in time."

[(default)] "Hi, Everybody!
by Ian @ 5:09 PM EST
Um...hello. I'm the newest staff member here at the simpage, and I have the pleasure of being a news reporter ;-).

I suppose some people would like to know more about me. I'm 11 years old and in 6th grade, and am very fond of computer programming. I guess you could say that I'm fairly athletic also. I live 45 minutes north of New York City, in some nice, quiet suburbs.

I enjoy going outside and working on my website. Playing basketball is also a way I spend my time.

That's enough...bye!
