How to get the 4x4 towers

I'm sure you have downloaded some cities, big cities, that have these enormous 4x4 towers like Corporate Ground Zero, Gray Matter Place, and the cream of the crop, Quigley Insurance Tower. These buildings only come in very strict conditions. The following conditions will give you the chance of a 4x4 tower:

It is a watered dense commercial zone

It is on a street corner

The demand of commercial is skyrocketing

Landvalues are astronomical

The earthquake resistance and retrofitting ordinance is enacted(*)

(*) Not verified

Commercial towers aren't only possible. You will see other 4x4 monsters in other zones, such as:

Mullet HiRise

Zone: Dense Residential
Required Landvalue: Very High/Astronomical
Required Demand: Very High
Additional Notes: This is the ultimate residential building in SimCity3000.

Brick Arms

Zone: Dense Residential
Required Landvalue: Medium
Required Demand: High
Additional Notes: It's nice to have this. It tells you you are on your way to having a successful city.

See and Want Emporium

Zone: Medium Commercial
Required Landvalue: Very Low/Low
Required Demand: Medium
Additional Notes: The suburban chain department store, I like to call it. It might be an eyesore, but I would keep it. Goes well with the other 'low value' buildings.

Armpit Central

Zone: Dense Industrial
Required Landvalue: N/A
Required Demand: High
Clean? Not even close
Additional Notes: Early in your cityhood these are okay, but they become a problem if you have them popping everywhere in the year 1980.

Petrol Plant

Zone: Medium Industrial
Required Landvalue: N/A
Required Demand Low/Medium
Clean? No
Additional Notes: This is not as dirty as Armpit Central, but again, they shouldn't overpopulate.

Sim Mars Testing Facility

Zone: Dense Industrial
Required Landvalue: N/A
Required Demand: Very High
Clean? Yes
Additional Notes: This baby is the cousin of the Auto Plant. They are both great to have. Of course, the real Sim Mars Testing Facility is pretty much gone now, but you could say it's the SimVille Testing Facility ;-)

Auto Plant

Zone: Dense Industrial
Required Land Value: N/A
Required Demand: Very High
Clean? Yes
Additional Notes: This awsome factory is the cream of the crop, tied with the Sim Mars Testing Facility for industrial buildings. You know your industrial zones are going good when these come up!

Well, that's about it.
